It was actually taking me FOREVER to really nail a
song (from beginning to end).

And even when I thought I learned a song, I’d still

make random mistakes, which would throw me off and

make it impossible for me to get back into the song
without stopping and starting over.

All I really had were a few song “chunks” and some
random riffs to impress my friends with.

The “traditional” practice model simply wasn’t working
for me…
